3. Indonesia - Russia Trade, Tourism & Investment Forum, 2023 in Moscow, Russia
The Press Conference and Mini Expo at Sarinah, Jakarta held during the Indonesia-Russia Trade, Tourism & Investment Forum presented promising prospects for both countries. As a member of the G20, Indonesia is a significant player in the global economy, and events like the Indonesia-Russia Trade, Tourism & Investment Forum can help to strengthen economic ties between G20 member countries like Indonesia and Russia. The Forum thus contributes to broader international efforts to promote trade and investment cooperation among the world’s major economies. This first event was attended by 18 MSMEs selling Indonesian and Russian products. Through a Press Conference attended by the Madam Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia and Russian trade representatives, participants were able to gain insight into the conditions of bilateral trade and investment between Indonesia and Russia at that time, as well as opportunities for future cooperation. Meanwhile, the Mini Expo at Sarinah, Jakarta showcased various products and services from both countries, allowing participants to gain a better understanding of each other’s industries and foster potential business partnerships. In conclusion, the Press Conference and Mini Expo provided a valuable opportunity for participants to enhance their business networks and contribute to the growth of trade and investment between Indonesia and Russia.
